It's All My Fault, Again
It’s All My Fault, Again

True, work and the weather are two of the reasons why I didn’t get any writing done yesterday at work. They hurt me a lot. But it’s not their fault. Well, that isn’t exactly true. It is partially their fault. But most of the blame for me not getting anything written yesterday. At least not any writing at work. I did do my last blog entry about a day ago right now.

It was extremely busy yesterday at work. One of the busiest days that I have ever since for a Wednesday. In fact, it’s almost as bad as it was when I worked that other post on Wednesdays. It wasn’t quite that bad. But it’s a very close second. That’s how bad it was.

The weather yesterday was really bad too. Where I live and work, it was raining all day. At least it was during my shift. It wasn’t a very heavy rain most of the time. But it was almost non-stop, though. And of course, this was the one day that I did a lot of guarding outside my guard post in this rain.

If it’s not the weather or work, then why didn’t I get any writing done yesterday on my Water Wars scriptwriting project? Well, that isn’t exactly true. I did get twelve paragraphs written. That includes ten scene paragraphs and two Establishing Shot ones. And some of them I probably still salvageable. But about half of those paragraphs need to be re-written.

Why do I think that some of them need to be re-written? It’s because I remembered them differently. That sometimes happens. I’m working on some writing. And it suddenly dawns on me that it’s all wrong. Sometimes that means I need to spend hours, days, or weeks trying to figure it out. But it’s not always like that. This is one of those times.

Today, at work I’m going to re-write when needs to be re-written. Once I get them done, then I will continue working on my second episode Treatment. I think that there are about six of them that need to be done. But whether there are six or more, I’m going to get as much writing as I can today. I’m hoping to get another five scene paragraphs written. Ten would be even better. But I’m not going to count on that until it actually happens.
