Slide Sonnet: "Summertime"
The heat is strong beneath the sky
the light is bright and vision's high.
We sweat because the heat is strong.
We rest in chime's dear windy song.

The days are full of things to do,
like swim with fam'ly, picnic, too.
With joy so great the days are full.
The clouds become bright mounds of wool.

We still can learn such wondrous things,
like, cook a meal the garden brings
or read a book, we still can learn,
while heavy rays could make skin burn.

The days of summer soon will end
when heat and schooling start to blend.
