Barely Fourteen

It was another Wednesday yesterday at work. Why do I write that? It’s because I wrote fourteen single paragraphs on both days for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Being a Saturday, I was hoping that I would get a little more than that written. and I should have gotten them too. But I didn’t. So, why didn’t I get more written?

What is the usual reason why I don’t get more written? That is right. It’s work. Unfortunately, I can’t blame work this time. True, it was a little bit busier than it normally is for a Saturday. But it wasn’t that busy. I was outside a tab more than I typically am. And the gate arm wasn’t as big of a problem yesterday than the last few days. But that wasn’t my problem either.

The heat wasn’t even a problem. True, the temperature was early to the middle nineties. And the Heat Index was between one hundred and one to one hundred and four. But that wasn’t why I didn’t get more writing done. It was a little unbearable because it was so hot. And it did weaken me some. But that wasn’t my problem either. The dripping water also wasn’t the reason why. It was a pain in the neck. But that wasn’t the main reason either.

Why didn’t I get more writing written on this movie Outline? It was mostly because of me. I’m the reason why. I had a slight lack of concentration. That’s because I watched the last few episodes of a series I have been watching. And I did watch it more than I wrote. I did get a lot of writing written during that time. But not as much as it should have been.

Today, I’m not going to be doing that. Yes, I’m going to be watching a lot of television shows. But they are only a few at a time. They may distract me a little. I don’t think that they will distract me that much, though. I’m not sure how much writing I will get written today.

I’m hoping to get between fifteen and twenty done. Which I may be able to do depending on how busy it is at work. If it’s a normal Sunday, then I might get that many written. But if it’s more like yesterday, I may be lucky to get the fifteen. It may even be another fourteen.
