The Last Two Days
The Last Two Days

I write in my blog entry from yesterday that I would try to explain why I only got four single paragraphs for the second episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. This is my attempt at explaining it. Actually, the title for yesterday's blog really explained it all. I just did feel like doing any writing. Well, that isn’t exactly true. True, I didn’t get too many written. But I did do a few.

Only four is better than nothing. It’s not much better, but it’s better. The only times I did worse than this was when I was at my old posts on Wednesdays. And that’s because I very seldom did any writing on those days. That post was way too busy for me to do any writing. Occasionally, I would be able to do a little. But that didn’t happen too often.

The weather a couple of days ago was the main reason why I didn’t feel like doing too much writing. It was very rainy and stormy during my work shift that day. Most of it was rain. But there was some thunder and lightning too. Of course, most of that wasn’t that close to me. And the rain wasn’t bad all of the time. It wasn’t constantly raining. But when it did rain it was kind of heavy most of the time. The rest was usually light rain.

Work was also a big factor in me not getting as much writing as I wanted to get written. That’s because it wasn’t just very, very busy. The Air Conditioner at that post was still dripping water on the electoral gate controls. That meant I had to use the controls outside that post. And of course, that’s the direction the rain was coming from. Which means I still could have been shocked. Luckily for me, I took my time to push those buttons. And I made sure my hand was covered by the other hand while I pushed the rubber buttons. I didn’t do it all the time that way. But I did most of it.

Yesterday, was a lot better with my writing. I got fourteen single paragraphs written. that averages about two an hour. And that’s not too bad. At least I don’t think that it is. I would like to get three or four an hour. But that doesn’t happen too often. Not unless they are Teaser or Tag Acts. Then I may be able to do that any. The paragraphs written yesterday weren’t from either of those Acts. They from the middle of Act One and all of Act Two.

Today, I will start with Act Three of this episode. And after I finish with that Act, then I will start with Act Four. I would like to get at least these eighteen single paragraphs written. And it is possible that I will. After all, it is a Saturday. But I’m not going to count on that until it happens.
