No Death Today

I’m still in the process of moving today. It started early this morning with us renting a U-Haul van. And we have been on the go ever since then. True, it didn’t take too long to get the big stuff over to the new place. In fact, we got it done just a little after the noon hour. But that was just the beginning. We still had a lot to do. And that is what we have been doing this afternoon and early evening.

Of course, it hasn’t been non-stop moving. We have had a few minutes here and there to relax. Most of that was during the move itself. But we also did a little after we finished with the van before we took it back. Unfortunately, the relaxing wasn’t that long.

What does that mean when it comes to my writing? It means that I didn’t have any time to get any writing done on my second scriptwriting project, The Problems with Death. I was hoping that I would get a little bit of time to work on it. But I haven’t. What little time we did between our moving is to relax. Take it easy for as long as it took.

Of course, I did think about my writing. I’m always doing that. Even when I’m doing something else like moving, I’m doing it. I just didn’t get the chance to do anything about it until about a half-hour ago when I started writing this blog entry. In fact, this is the first chance that I have gotten to open my laptop.

Not only did I think about my second project, but I have also been thinking about the second movie project. The title for that movie is, Living Above Death, right now. but that may change before the movie is written. After all, I am using ‘Death’ with my first movie. I’m not crazy about doing it again. I may change it. Then again, I may not.

I also thought about my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And my second television series project, Family Treasures. Not as much as my first two movies. But I did think about them. Especially, when I was in our car alone going to and from our places. Of course, I know that thinking about it and writing it isn’t the same thing. But for me, that helps me in my writing.

Will I get any writing done after I write and post this blog entry? I want to do it. And I know that I should at least try to do it. But I probably won’t. That’s because I haven’t gotten too much sleep in the last few days. And I’m probably going to go to sleep soon after I post this blog entry. After all, I know that my brother and I have a lot that needs to be done tomorrow too.
