Almost as Good as Thursday
Almost as Good as Thurday

I almost did as good as I did on Thursday with the number of single paragraphs that I got written for the fourth episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. It was very close, though. In fact, it was as close as you can get without it being the same. I got fourteen paragraphs written yesterday at work.

Of course, the first nine of them were for my Teaser Act. And those paragraphs are only three lines long with my Story Outlines. But it is the beginning of this episode. Usually, they are very hard to write. I know what I want to write. But with only three lines it’s hard for me to write them sometimes. This was one of those times. They were kind of hard to write.

In fact, I probably ended up doing about fifteen of them for that Act because of all the re-writing. Almost every one of them needed to be re-written at least one. One or two were written again more than once. Some of them were only a few words to maybe a sentence or two. And some of them were the whole paragraphs that needed to be re-written again.

Why didn’t I get more written yesterday at work? What is the usual reason why I don’t get them written? That’s right, it’s work. It wasn’t as busy as it has been for a Friday. But it was a very close second. Especially, the first two and the last two hours of my shift. The middle four weren’t quite as busy. But they were still very busy, though.

The weather also slowed me down a little bit when it comes to my writing. It wasn’t as hot as it has been the last few days. But it sure felt like it was because of the humidity. And of course, I was outside in that heat a lot of the time yesterday. In fact, it was one of the busiest days that I have had going outside. If it’s not the busiest one so far this summer.

Today, I’m going to continue working on this Story Outline. I’m not sure how many single paragraphs that I will be able to get written today. But I’m hoping to do between fifteen and twenty of them. And since it’s a Saturday, there is a very good chance that I might be able to do that many. If I don’t end up doing a few more of them. then again, maybe lucky if I get fifteen written.
Why do I feel like that about today at work? It’s because of the last few Saturdays. Usually, it’s not too busy at work on a Saturday. And the last few haven’t been. But they have been a little bit busy than usual, though. If today is like it has been lately on a Saturday, then I might not get as many single paragraphs written as I want to get written. Whether it’s between ten, fifteen, twenty, or more I’m going to get as many of them as I can written.
