Why do I have a title for this blog entry like above? It’s because I’m starting to that it is me who can’t get more than ten single paragraphs written on a Saturday. Being a Saturday, I should have had a little bit more than that. But I didn’t. That’s why I think that it’s my fault that I’m not getting more written daily.

True, work was about twice as busy as it usually is for a Saturday. Especially, during the first six hours. But that’s no excuse for me not getting more written. Yes, it did slow me down a little bit having to go outside in that heat every few minutes. It didn’t slow me down that much, though.

As I just wrote in the above paragraph, the weather at work yesterday was one of the reasons why I may not have gotten more written yesterday. The temperature got to about ninety, I think. If that’s true, then the Heat Index was at least one hundred. I still don’t think that is the reason why I didn’t get more written yesterday.

What I don’t understand is why I’m not writing more. Usually, it is because of work, the weather, or both. But that isn’t the reason yesterday. At least I don’t think that it is. That’s why I don’t understand it. The weather did weaken me. And I was a little tired because of it. But it didn’t affect me that much.

So, what is my problem? I don’t think that it’s the normal reasons why I don’t get more writing done on my Water Wars scriptwriting project: the lack of concentration or me being too tired because of not sleeping the night before. I’m sure that I didn’t have any problems with either one of those.

I did have several re-writes. And that did slow me down some. It wasn’t that bad yesterday, though. I knew what I wanted to write. But I had a little trouble putting it down on paper. Of course, that probably wouldn’t be a problem if I could use my laptop at work like everyone else.

As for me being tired, I wasn’t. I got plenty of sleep the night before. True, there was a whole lot of thunder and lightning overnight and early yesterday. But it didn’t keep me awake for long. I may have woken up a few times. That didn’t stop me from going back to sleep very quickly.

I’m hoping to do a lot better today with my single paragraphs for my movie Scene Outline. I don’t know how many more I can get done. But I would be happy to get between ten and fifteen done. If I can do that, I will be happy. Especially, if it’s closer to fifteen or more. But after what has been happening the last few days, I may be lucky if I get ten of them written.
