Extremely, Extremely, Extremely
Extremely, Extremely, Extremely

The above blog entry title is the only way to describe what happened at work yesterday or in my case what didn’t happen yesterday. it was extremely busy at work all day yesterday. From the time I got there until I finished, it was extremely busy. Almost every minute I was outside my post. That’s how extremely busy that it was.

It made working at my old Wednesday post seem slow. That is how bad it was yesterday at work. In fact, it was probably the worst yesterday in the almost two years that I have worked there. At least it was the worst yesterday that I can remember having. It was that bad.

Work wasn’t the only reason why I didn’t get hardly any writing done on my Water Wars scriptwriting project at work yesterday. It was the main reason. But it wasn’t the only one, though. My lack of concentration was also a big reason why I didn’t get too much writing written yesterday at work. Even though a lot of it was work-related.

What do I mean by work-related? It means that something at work happened yesterday that made me do an Incident Report without it being an IR. In fact, I sort of ended up doing two of them. What does that mean? It means that what did happen made me so mad that I had to write it down. I know that nothing will come of it. Expect for me getting the blame for it. But I had to do something. After all, this is happening a lot more now.

It took me about two hours to write both of those IRs. The first took the longest at around an hour and a half. And it happened about two and a half hours into my shift. It was around two hours after I finished the first one that it almost happened again. That one only took about a half-hour to write. The main reason why it took me so long to write them is because of how extremely busy that it was yesterday at work.

After the first one, I didn’t feel too much like working on my Water Wars project anymore. I tried to work on it. But I couldn’t. Then the second one happened. And that’s when my lack of concentration really started to begin. It was bad before the IRs. But it was even worse after that. in fact, it took over after that. That’s why I only got three single paragraphs written yesterday for my movie Scene Outline.

Today I’m hoping to do a lot better when it comes to my writing. It can’t get much worse. Now can it? Most of that depends on how busy it gets at work today. And if anything, else happens that needs me to write any more IRs. If it is like yesterday, then much worse may happen. I hope that it’s not worse than yesterday. But there is a very good chance that it might be if work has anything to say about it.
