Proverbs 1:11

This book is a Hoot!

Proverbs 1:10. 11

What does this mean to you?:

I included 10 because I often find that a scripture is better understood when it does not stand alone.

Once it becomes known that you are not alone. Christ stands with you, so you are called Christian, you find many people trying to dissuade you.

You may be invited to laugh at someone else's troubles behind their back. (lay wait for blood) You may be invited to attack someone verbally, or mentally with prayer, or physically in a bully manner. Someone who isn't even thinking of you or who is innocent of a wrong being held against them can be targeted and you may be enticed to join the attackers.

You should get to know someone before you pray for them. Innocent people are sometimes targeted in prayer chains. These prayers can actually affect the mind and cause physical actions, that are not necessarily a normal response of someone who has been caught unawares.
