It’s Not a Bad Slight Change

I have been thinking about this for a very long time. Almost from the beginning of the Water Wars scriptwriting project. there is something that has been wrong about the movie for this project. Don’t panic. I haven’t changed my mind again on how it should be written. Especially, not that I’m about done with the Scene Outline. But I do think that I do need to change it slightly.

What am I trying to write about? I’m not very happy with my Outlines. There has been some showing. But most of it has been telling. That isn’t as big of a deal when it comes to Story Outlines. It is with Scene Outlines. They should be more showing than telling. I have done that some in this project. but not as much as I should have.

That isn’t what I’m changing, though. I can work out the telling when I start writing the scripts. True, I could do it with the Outlines. And I’m going to try to do it with my four television episodes. But that doesn’t need to be done right now. What I’m going to be changing doesn’t need to be done now either. After all, I haven’t started entering what I have handwritten yet. I can make the changes then.

All along I have been writing my movie Scene Outline in the format of my television series with Acts and scene numbers for it. But when it comes to the script it’s going to be written without them. I have done this for two reasons. One is that this is a television series intro movie. And it will probably be released as one. But I would like it to be on the big screen first. That’s my second reason.

Why am I writing about this? It’s because it relates to the changes that I’m going to be making when I start to transfer my handwriting to my laptop. I have treated this movie intro into two separate episodes that are linked together with what Chaad, Suuri, and Hoolle are doing. And what they are going to do with the InWaterStructure they have just taken.

Instead of Teaser Act Two, Act Five, Act Six, Act Seven, Act Eight, and Tag Act Two I’m going to be treating them as a Teaser Act, Act One, Act Two, Act Three, Act Four, and a Tag Act. Aka a normal episode. That is what I’m going to be changing. And I can do that when I start typing it into my laptop.
