Happy Baby Jesus Day!

"Muzzy I asked you to come to my office,
because we've had some complaints against your
holiday greeting.
The store policy is to have a positive greeting,
'Happy Holidays.'
You are saying, 'Happy Baby Jesus Day.'
Many of the non-Christian customers are offended
by your greeting."
Kmart Store Manager Stewart Wolf had a big smile
and liked Muzzy.
His office was behind the restrooms and the hand
blowers could be heard.
His metal desk was too big for the small office.
There was barely enough room for Muzzy's chair
and two file cabinets. ..

Muzzy leaned forward, "I was joking. I'm agnostic."
Stewart laughed, "I know and I'm Jewish."
Nevertheless, some customer made a complaint
about your holiday greeting,
while you collect carts in the parking lot."
Stewart asked Muzzy to sign a write-up.
He then stood and put the paper in a drawer
in one of the two file cabinets.
Stewart was a large man and it was difficult for
him to make this maneuver in the small space.
"I like you, Muzzy. I think you have a positive attitude."
Stewart put out his hand and Muzzy shook it.
When Stewart sat down his swivel chair squeaked. ..

"Do you believe in magical Jews, who fly through the air?"
Muzzy queried.
Stewart laughed loudly and his chair squeaked as he leaned backward.
"How should I know? I wasn't there," he answered with a smirk,
"My wife bought a beautiful fiber optic Christmas tree."
Muzzy sipped his bottled water,
"I have a small Douglas fur .. I like the scent of pine."
"Well, Merry Christmas." Stewart laughed,
"Peggy needs help with a kitchen display."
Muzzy stood and shook Stewart's hand again and shuffled
sideways past the desk to the door.
