Start a business...why not? Every locality deserves a talented local 'round-the-corner bakery. That'd be so cool. Wish I could parlay a talent into a business, but rhyme doesn't pay.

Well I don't shift gears as smoothly as I should. Once a plan is made in one direction and it has to change - it sometimes takes me a while to get back on track.

But sounds like you did this shift really well - good for you. I think this will be better anyway. You don't have to leave Meow - so she will be very very happy!

Sleep in tomorrow for goodness sakes and enjoy your next few days off.

I absolutely loved "On a Wing and a Prayer." I agree with the sentiment, because it implies not only letting go to a higher power, trusting in it, but trusting in yourself as well. The bird could not soar if it did not stick it's wings out and let the wind currents carry it. Plus, there are subtle shifts of it's feathers that capture the higher power and allow it to soar, dip, and swoop to a greater extent.

It reminds me of one of my favorite sayings: "Pray, but row away from the rocks." To me this means there is a symbiosis between ourselves and a higher power. Each has to work together--neither one can be neglected.

Excellent entry.

Whew! What a day!

There's some numbers I keep in my phone anyway even though I know I'll never call them...it's more so to know what numbers to ignore in case they ever call me.
