A writer never stops learning, no matter how 'seasoned' or 'experienced' they might be. Like everyone else, I strive to improve on a daily basis and as I research around the web or read through textbooks, helpful pointers are noted down and will be shared with everyone.
My hope is that they can be of use to you as they have been for me.
Award given by Raider Capt. J.R. Thank you!!

Okay, which one is better or make sense here? Lie or Lye.
She lye's down to rest. Is that correct?
She lies to her Mother?
Well, there both trickey but the reason is because we had a English Graduate write a group email explaining the difference but I ended up confussed. Lye is it to lie?
Do not use for indirect quotation was the biggest tip for me.
There are story's I've tried to come up with and want to use quatation marks. But not using them while indirect statements works for me.
It's the newer movies that are scary. The old ones in the seventies ect. have much theme. The newer generation care-less about theme want anticipation. Example: Go buy new movies that are cheap but look recent. Ain't talking Hellraiser. Talking About The Night HORRORS.
Yes, ghots. Sometimes while living in the innermost happiness in calmness in a new place or enviroment that's when get a visit. *ghots*
Seriously, I used to work at a hotel near Richland Chambers.
I was laying a fresh set of sheets on the bed after washing them. With my back turn without a thing to think but the world I heard a noise. I was like what is that? I mean here I am with a smile on my face without realiseing and tending to my duties at work than all of a sudden a noise is heard. It was wired because the hotels are outside. The store is several yards away. This is a marina so you have to walk everywhere to go anywhere. I was the only person in the room. No one at sight! And the door left open. No wind. I have a hearing problem but I am sure I heard something. I don't know what it was but it is absolutely my belief something does exist when you are smileing without no particular reason just smiling at life just because.
I have an opinion on this. It's one of the reasons why writers have to be very good listeners. Keep your ears (as well as eyes) open. Those lucky enough to travel to many places can take the time to distinguish the accents and dialects of the people they meet. Others who cannot do so, can take refuge in watching movies or TV (or even listening to the radio.)
Keep your ears and eyes open. I am very home bodied and hardly ever traveled more than 500 miles anywhere. I have family that is British that is in the states. I take someone as myself and look at how I am influenced to write. I don't think watching accented movies would have near as much effect as listening to my Grandmother talk through the years. So, listening to your eyes helps improve writing methods. We are influenced more so by what is in our heart to write down what it is as writers.
