| I have teenager out of school, a husband off from work and no disabilities so why is it that my house looks like KATRINA stopped by? Pure and simple lack of want. Teenagers are stereotypically lazy and mine is no different. Not to say that he isn't a good, well mannered, helpful teenager, but lets face it if they don't see immediate pay off for themselves most teens are not about to take the initiative. Haven help me at times I just get sick of pulling those teeth. Know what I mean? My husband on the other hand is just shy of a workaholic, but he tries to balance it out. Let's face it men work off logic, women work off emotions and the two are a hard switch. Not to say that plenty don't make it work like pie, just not here. I am totally emotionally driven while my husband is logically driven. Therefore, it there is an issue it must be fixed yet most of the time I just want acknowledgement that there is a problem. No solution, just vindication. I should be taking care of this mess and putting my home back in order is so desperately needs, but instead I am playing on writing.com and enjoying the opportunity to embrace and feed my writing addiction. I don't want to be the adult and do what needs to be done. I want to be the kid that gets to put their fun 1st and the rest will got to whenever I get around to it. The fun filled youth is so wasted on the young. Those with wisdom and experience should get the benefits of youth and the naïve and inexperienced should be burden with the heavy loads of making things workout right continuously. It is so unfair. One of the popular phases of the young should be reserved for the older ones that actually get just how truly unfair life is. |

It seems many of us worry about our appearances and I blame it on the media (tv, magazines, etc) It's too bad. If you are a beautiful person on the inside, that's what matters.
