A place for my thoughts, rants, virtual travels, and random stuff.
Hello, I'm Hanna and welcome to my first ever blog! Seriously, I have no idea how this works.... *Laugh*
But this shall be a fun ride! *Bigsmile*

This is where I'll take on the challenge of being completely honest with not only whoever reads it, but mostly with myself.

Today I'm in a musical mood and it all started when my sister and I decided to watch a movie. I told her to pick it and when I returned from fixing my hair she surprised me by putting in Hairspray! Isn't she just the best? *Delight* She's even better than the best because she doesn't mind when I just have to sing along with every song... including the song "Miss Baltimore Crabs" *Laugh* So after the movie I started a dancing and singing party in our kitchen (like I always do *Wink* ) and that lasted for 2-3 hours. She went to sleep, but I'm still in a musical mood so I watched one of the other musical movies I own... Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure which I just adore, and now I'm watching A Cinderella Story : Once Upon a Song which has some awesome songs and dance numbers. Oh yeah! 💃🎤🎵🎶

I need to get more musical movies.... a girl can never have enough! *Bigsmile* Now which ones to get? *Think*

Yesterday was a very, very blessed day *Smile*. I went to my cousin D's house to celebrate my birthday a few days early because we're supposed to have possible thunderstorms on my actual birthday. *Rant* *Throws a temper-tantrum like a two-year old*

We got there around 12:00 am (I know that sounds weird, but my family are nightowls. *Laugh*) The moment I got there I washed my hands and went straight to the supreme pizza (my favorite food in the world!) that was sitting on the table. I ate three slices throughout the night and drank Dr. Pepper and water (I tried to be a tiny bit healthy *Wink*. They just make pizza so darn good!! *Hungry*
My cousin told us this really creepy thing about something he saw on Facebook from someone he knows. Anyway he said at the bottom of the post it said "Watch the doll" and so my cousin did. A little girl was playing with her dolls while her dad videotaped her (normal stuff, right?) Her dad asked her something about why she wasn't playing with the other doll that was across the room I guess. To that the little girl replied that the doll wouldn't leave her alone.... this was when the video showed that (and if you're the kind to cover your eyes when you watch horror films like me then please don't read this unless you are ready to be really scared) the doll turned her head! *Shock* I told my cousin he had to be kidding even though I do believe in that stuff and he proceeded to tell me about another video the dad shot of his daughter. This time the little girl was coloring or drawing and all of a sudden the paper flew at her and she took off running and screaming. She came back and it did it again, except this time the stapler that sat beside the paper was hurled off the table. Now I had a similar thing happen when I was a pre-teen so I believe in this even if some people think it's nuts. True story, my face was like *Shock2*
After eating I opened my presents and I want to clarify that I knew what I was getting because I had picked them out haha. My cousin D didn't have any birthday wrapping paper, but he has a whole cabinet full of Christmas paper (unfortunately he was out of tape though) anyways he wrapped my four presents up in snow white and Tiffany blue tissue paper and put them in a cute little Christmas bag that has Santa reading over the naughty or nice list *Laugh*. Honestly it makes it all the more special to me because it's exactly the kind of sweet memories I remember growing up *Heart*. I can remember wrapping birthday presents in Christmas paper or Christmas presents in birthday paper when I was a kid and when we didn't have that the comics from the newspaper worked real well! So inside that most beautiful tissue paper was "Wicked: the original Broadway cast " cd, A Little Bit Wicked by Kristin Chenoweth, and two Disney movies (one I fell in love with the second I watched it and the second movie was one I hadn't ever seen before, but was positive I would love it.) Now I'm sure some will laugh at this.... I don't know what a typical almost 20 year old would ask for, but.... The first dvd was Frozen because I just *Heart* it soooo much. It reminds me of me and my sister (Anna = Me and Elsa = Angel aka The Ink Maiden~ who I love with all my heart and soul. *Hug* She's the one who inspired me to write and introduced me to WdC. I just don't think I could ever tell her thank you enough. And the second movie was (hold for laughter please) Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. When I was about 7 or 8 years old High School Musical was my entire life basically. I would go around singing all the songs and dancing. I even performed "We're all in this together " at the end of the school assembly in front of all the students, teachers, faculty, parents and friends (this was around the time that I got stage fright because I accidentally ripped my favorite skirt *Blush* when my friends and I were rehearsing outside while the person before us did their talent and.... It was just the bottom part, but I was kinda superstitious I guess, and thought it was bad luck or something (plus my aunt J, Grammy, mama, cousin D, and Angel were all there) . Long story short: They called us onstage, played the music, and I danced and sang but let's just say it was a liiiiitle stiff, but hey I got through it! My mama still has that videotape somewhere....*Laugh* Though Sharpay's character was almost always selfish, catty, vain, and self-absorbed (not to mention the blonde mean girl stereotype, trust me brunettes can be mean too) I saw myself in her. Some good, some bad. What can I say? I'm not perfect (even though like Sharpay I have tried very hard to be or at least tried to make the world think that I am.) This dvd came with a pretty pink clutch that said Fabulous on the front in silver font. Once D got the dvd player hooked up we started watching it. Now I was certain I would love it because it is about Sharpay who wants to prove to her daddy that she can be responsible, go to New York by herself, and become a huge Broadway star. It was such a cute movie filled with humor, heart, lessons about friendship, and some of the cutest clothes that I totally need in my closet like right now! *Inlove* Pink was definitely the color of this movie, but I wouldn't have expected it any other way. Sharpay is not Sharpay if the girl doesn't like pink. As we watched the movie and ate Tomatoes (some with salt), Jalapenos with cream cheese (no bacon for me since I'm a veggie), and Mexican hot chocolate (which is realllly good!) we repeatedly talked about Boi (Sharpay's cute little Yorkie) and couldn't stop comparing his cuteness to D's doggie Trigg. Though Trigg is a bit bigger and a different color he is definitely an eleven if the cuteness scale goes to ten! *Heart* After the movie it was like 3 or 4 am (which for us is not unusual). We talked about general stuff like the weather, what Entertainment Tonight was saying, and how Trigg wouldn't let anyone hug D (not even his mom). Then we took a picture to commemorate this moment on my mom's phone that the dog got a hold of one day when it fell off the kitchen table. The phone is all white and streaked (seriously I have no clue what Valentina did to it *Confused*) and we couldn't really see the picture, but we'll take a new one when I'm actually 20 so that's okay. I knew I should have brought my tablet, but the battery was almost dead so yeah.... *Rolleyes* So around four-thirty we left because D and Trigg were exhausted and mama had her ministry call at 5 am. That pretty much concludes my "Almost 20" birthday celebration. And may I say I spent it comfortably in my Thank God I'm Forgiven t-shirt, favorite maroon sweater, fuzzy blue coffee pants, and cute little baby blue ankle socks with snow white and Tiffany blue polka dots (my socks matching the tissue paper is just a fun coincidence! *Ha*) I've already read four chapters of A Little Bit Wicked and absolutely adore it! So if you read this whole thing thank you and technically all the little details are more for me to remember such a memorable day! *Delight*

Thank you God that you blessed me with the most incredible, loving people I could ever know!!! I am truly blessed!! *Happycry* *Heart* *Hug* *Heart*

It's day 2, and we are in Perth! Perth is still in WA, so we won't be changing time zones just yet. We're checking into Adina Apartment Hotels nice and early today, because we're going on the Fremantle Lunch cruise from 9:45 am to 2:45 pm. Hope you got some shut-eye on the plane! If not, you can always use the time after our cruise to catch up on your Zs, or explore the city and buy more souvenirs. Just make sure you're back by evening so you don't miss the flight to Adelaide!

Today we have arrived in Perth and didn't get to the Adina Apartment Hotel till about midnight, but I had taken a mini nap on the plane so I was feeling pretty refreshed by the time we got there. My roomies Kit of House Lannister and Dragon is hiding however were pretty tired and went to bed pretty soon after arriving. I laid in bed quietly for an extra hour playing Candy Crush Saga on my phone and reading up on some of the things I could do while here. Before I knew it the sun had come up and Dragon was rushing around getting ready, and I personally am not a morning person *Pthb* . Luckily after a nice cup of coffee with hazelnut creamer I was back in good spirits and nobody seemed to acknowledge my... ahem not so positive attitude.*Whistle*
We quickly got dressed before meeting up with Elycia Lee ☮ , SB Musing , Princess Megan Rose 22 Years , AlyCatAuthor HAPPY 4th! , Lyn's a sly fox , Brother Nature , and Andy~hating university to get to the Freemantle Cruise Dragon had booked from 9:45am-2:45 pm. There was a yummy buffet on the cruise and later after lunch me and some of the girls started dancing and singing. After the cruise Dragon is hiding was feeling touristy and took some of the others with her while Princess Megan Rose 22 Years led the rest of us back to the hotel. Even though I wasn't tired I wanted to change out of the shorts and springlet I had worn on the cruise and douse myself in more sunscreen (the non sticky spray kind) before heading off to be touristy. So after changing into a bright floral dress and comfy, but fashionable flats that matched I caught a bus to Kings Park, one of the worlds largest inner city parks. My first stop in Kings Park was the visitor's centre to pick up a self-guided walking map of the Boodje Gnaring Walk. It was such a peaceful escape from the hustle of the city with over 3,000 species of the state's unique flora. For some reason though I was warned to stay away from the Magpies, but nobody really explained why. I think it had to do with them attacking the bicyclists or something. At one point I found myself standing on the glass bridge that overlooks much of the park and being hypnotized by the beauty it had to offer, sweeping views of the Swan River. After hours of enjoying Kings Park and its most lovely botanical gardens I headed back to the hotel to get some sleep before our next flight. Ready or not here we come Adelaide!

Prompt: G'day everyone! Welcome to the land down under, or Down Under, as we like to call it. I am Just a feathery-winged Dragon , and will be your Australian blog tour guide for the month of December. I hope you're all ready for a month of adventure and fun; we are in Broome, Western Australia (WA) today, so once we check into our hotel, Kimberley Sands Resort/Spa, we're going on a half-day seaplane tour of the city at 11:14, then you'll have the rest of the day to yourselves until we fly out to Perth in the evening.

Today I have arrived in Western Australia, Broome to be exact and I'm so excited to be in the land down under as they say. It was a really long flight, but thankfully I don't have any jet lag and I was in good company because my friends Elycia Lee ☮ , Dragon is hiding who is our brilliant tour guide, SB Musing , Princess Megan Rose 22 Years , Kit of House Lannister , AlyCatAuthor HAPPY 4th! , and some familiar faces like Andy~hating university , Brother Nature , and Lyn's a sly fox are all on the 30 day trip too. Dragon booked us really elegant suites at the fantastic Kimberly Sands Resort and Spa. I was bursting with enthusiasm taking in every single moment as I was escorted to my room by a bellhop who had a friendly smile. I was just about to dig through my loads of luggage for my bright blue sundress (I know I brought too much, but what can I say? I couldn't decide which outfits to bring and I had to have one whole suitcase just for my shoes. Dragon didn't seem to mind too much.... *Whistle*) when Elycia Lee ☮ came knocking on my door. She gaped at all my bags stacked neatly by the bed, I rolled my eyes before dragging her out of the room. We had to hurry and meet up with the others because our seaplane tour of the city was leaving any minute.

As I starred out the window of the seaplane I lost all words. Australia was more breathtaking than I could've ever imagined! After the tour I had the rest of the day to myself so I grabbed SB Musing , Dragon is hiding , Elycia Lee ☮ , Princess Megan Rose 22 Years , and Kit of House Lannister and we rode camels along Cable Beach located not too far from The Kimberly. The camels were surprisingly easy to ride, but a little tricky to get on and off of, even though they were sitting on the sand waiting for us to mount them their backs were at least four feet off the ground. At one point I overheard SB Musing asking Kit of House Lannister if she should get a running start and to that Kit replied "of course not!"

The ride along the beach was serene as the waves crashed against the shore and the sky turned to a deep pinkish-purple. After the ride we went to an early dinner and I had the roasted vegetable pasta salad. It was so delicious, topped with crumbled feta and a balsamic olive oil dressing. Then it was back to the airport for our evening flight to Perth.
