I’m liking the new branch. We almost never see Michelle as a character instead of a largely faceless name, so seeing more of her is interesting. And I’m kinda curious about what exactly Alexis wants from Will, and what she’s thinking of gaining out of taking this football player’s life.
The issue is that the previous chapter didn't establish it. If that happened, Will would've known that Josie had a game that day, and wouldn't have been surprised by the texts.
Also, why would trying to explain the scrape would lead necessarily to divulging the secrets? That'd have made Will run away, probably blowing things off about him going to the party instead of with Kim.
Another nicely written branch! I don’t usually comment here, but it might have been an unexpected twist if one of Josie’s teammates noticed some difference about Will-as-Josie and begins asking questions. As if the real Josie got a scrape on an arm or a leg at today’s soccer match that doesn’t appear on Will-as-Josie. That leads to Will divulging secrets about the book, despite the previous agreement his group made about letting others in.
Stuff was happening yesterday around the time I usually post a chapter, and by the time I was done with it the day was pretty far gone, so I just skipped the day. Yesterday's chapter is now today's chapter:
