Happily jumping up and about, Turning my frown way around, Crumbling all signs of gloom, A ray of light shining through. Its a slight kiss on my lips. Its a warm shawl on my skin. Its bright and truly holy glow, Reminds my soul that it must burn. Burn through all odds of dark days, And it's ugly, mocking, shadowy ways. Every time I smile, Everyplace I go to, Everything I see, Everything I do, Reminds me of the way you'd smile, The places you'd go to, The way you saw things, And the things you loved to do. I just hope that you loved your life The way I loved and still love you. |
