Poison Tea Poetry is a poetry form invented by Tom Kreitzberg. Welcome! Stay awhile. Could you? Update: Sadly, no more Tom Kreitzberg's website: How to brew Poisontea: http://www.smart.net/~tak/poisontea.html |
He poisoned her salad, she poisoned his ale. This type of break up, they did crave. But now they lie dead--stiff, rotting, and pale, Buried together in one grave. |
She poisoned his coffee, she poisoned his rum-- He'd become a bittersweet pill. But she learned, soon after she'd buried the bum, That he'd recently changed his will. |
He poisoned her coffee, she poisoned his beer, Both of them being well-insured. But as darkness approached, and death drew near, They realized the debt they'd incurred. |
She poisoned his cola, he poisoned her tea, Then they waited with hidden smirks. But even in death, what they could not flee Was the fact that they both were jerks. |
He poisoned her coffee, he poisoned her tea, Expecting that soon she would croak. But after she died and was scattered at sea, He discovered the bitch was broke. |
