Greets, Welcome to Writing.Com! For starters, you're not clicking the right thing to create a folder. To be sure that's what you want to do, I'll note that a folder goes in your portfolio in order to hold and organize your portfolio items. If that is what you want to do, then you need to click the Create New Item from the left column. Then on that page, click to create a Folder. You'll need to fill out all of the required fields on that page. The folder creation page does include/require a brief description and a "body" for the folder that may contain more text about the contents of the folder. Even if you decide you don't want more text, you have to put some sort of text there. Once you've created the folder in your portfolio, you can move items into it by editing the items and changing their location. The error messages you received were from posting in a message forum, NOT creating a new folder. Hope this helps, ~~SM A Few Helpful Tips...
