A little pep talk....
Honestly, this is a beautiful form to write, don't try to force it. I know I'm having trouble writing my sample for the next round and since I used the coronary incident to escape the 4 Round Prelim I don't think the other two SLAMigas are going to let me walk on this one.

Read the three examples, read the three posted, GOOGLE "sestina" and read some of those, just remember I added a little Texas Twist. Think of times when you thought it was going well and it turned out horrid, or visie versie. Mine was actually prompted by a coworker who actually said, "I thought I was in love but got over it," in this very nonchalant tone. Oh, and just because you've posted it doesn't mean you have to keep it that way. I've changed one line of mine three times since I posted it, I think I have it right now because my Muse has let me sleep! LOL Don't despair, just breate!

If you're feeling a little bit like all the ink is running out of every single pen you own, it might be time to go pen shopping. Buy a whole bunch of your favorite kind of pen. There! You've solved the problem. If you still can't seem to get anything written down, maybe it's not the pen that's the problem.
