A pseudo Shakespearean Sonnet

The rhyme scheme is in place, but lately one reviewer thinks there are too many exceptions to the traditional iambic pentameter for this to be called a sonnet.

What is your opinion on that precise question? Where is the limit between iambic pentameter and ten syllables per line in modern sonnets, and may one continue to use the phrase Shakespearean Sonnet?
