Meat was my special friend, he always came to be near me when it was bedtime, a whisper would have him beside me in a minute or two. It was hard to write the story because he also died in my arms, heart attack, but I could tell from his eyes he was already gone long before his body gave up his last breath. I have never loved another cat the way I loved, and still love, him.
