Teenage Crusade

We’ll lead our own crusade
And the followers will come
March in the parade
To the beat of the drum
Bun Dun Dun Bun Dun Dun
The beat will get faster
With every new member
March until we cause a disaster
March until december
The beat is advancing
As four more join right in
Soon we’ll all be dancing
To the beat of our own sin
Bun Dun Dun Bun Dun Dun Bun Dun Dun
Teenagers in mass
Fed up with the world
Attention to the class:
Our plan has unfurled
It can’t be long now
Before the beat gets too fast
Will our leader please take a bow
We’ll be listened to at last
With one final hit
On the drum of youth
You step to speak over it
But only the truth
You tell of the fighting
Yelling, crying misunderstood
Can’t get through, even with writing
But here and now we should
As the parents line up
At the cemetery gates
You raise your cup
To an army of future inmates
They can’t understand
Why we’re gathered here today
But what we have planned
Will happen anyway
You pick up a gun
A knife, and some drugs
Explain that we’re done
With not getting hugs
Not getting attention
The kind that we need
Did we forget to mention
That we’d rather bleed
Than put up with your actions
All day and night
We wait for reactions
Wait for the light
But the sun does not come
It’s the rain and the clouds
It’s leaving us numb
But we’re still fighting the crowds
With a scream and a choke
A parent drops dead
This is no joke
No more to be said
Remember one day
The rebels will win
Even if today
They just begin
Don’t fight with your child
Or beat them around
One day we’ll run wild
And kill you without a sound
No one will hear you cuss
Or scream or yell
Like no one heard us
When we were stuck in hell
In the end….
We’ll lead a crusade
And the followers will come
March in the parade
To the beat of the drum.

Letter to a Friend

Friendships come
And friendships go
And youre the only
Friend I know
Who has stood beside me
Day in, day out
Who loved me
without a doubt
we had our times
when we wouldnt speak
that left both of us
eager and weak
we wouldnt even
last a day
before we had
something to say
and its been too long
since Ive told you
but my friend
did you know
its friendship week
and so
its time to speak
I love you
More than the ever
Ill stay with you
For always and forever
And when your ill
And stuck in bed
Ill chase the headache
From your head
Well go to the park
And sit in the shade
And hope the memories
Never fade
But its been a while
Since Ive remembered much
Youve been away
On trips and such
You called to check
If I was alright
But we ended up
In a fight
This time I feel ill
And when I was stuck in bed
You created the headache
In my head
But after a bit
I was feeling better
So I agreed
To write you a letter
"When I started
falling fast
You grabbed my hand
forgot the past
pulled me up
hugged me tight
swore to god
wed never fight
ever again
as long as the stars shine
no more arguments
or crossing the line
so Im with you again
and all is well
we were apart once
but you cant tell
I hope you forgive
And easily forget
The things that filled us
With regret
Dear friend I love you
More than ever
And I will be with you
Always and forever."

Dear America: Our Soldiers Are Dying

Its thoroughly enraging
Let me tell you
To be thoroughly engaging
In this Iraq war
That is of
No use at all
No use to wish for more
When the Americans are now losing
Men and women and young children
Are all dying their families
Are left crying
Cant tell me Im lying
Nineteen year old David Crombie
Of Nevada
Was killed when a roadside
Bomb detonated near his
Humvee on the 7th of June
2006
And so instead of going on to college
Hes going on to heaven
But they knew the risks versus rewards
Yet when it came time for the rewards
The risks outweighed
and so here they stayed
frozen after a bullet penetrated
their bullet proof vest
plunging into that soldiers chest
hitting a vein or artery
but America is still blind to see
So now 21 year old Paul Collins
Helicopter crashes after an apparent
Rocket strike
So his family will get the letter saying
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Collins
We are sorry to inform you that
Your son will be going on
To a better place now that hes a hero
That he died for his country
For what he believed in
His service will be held to honor him
Flag flying half mass
Meanwhile
Bush is still half a**
Deciding , confused on what to do
Yet he continues sending more
And more troops to meet their fate
Cant tell me I aint got
No reason to hate
Open your eyes
Listen to the lies
He tells everyday
It was all right in the beginning
But now its elevated
Get out of Iraq
Because now were the problem
No longer Bin Laden
Suddams dead
No more dirt trodden
By U.S. boots
One more shot to end it all
Will that do
Or does everyone need
To continue to suffer
God bless America
The home of the free
land of the brave
one life left to save
and thats yours
its theirs
its one man against a nation
who will get the job done
Mrs. Clinton we welcome you
So warmly so go ahead n hurry
And end this madness
End this grief and sadness
One more shot rings out
It hits the source of the pain
One more loss one more gain
And its over finally
They can sleep
Knowing that the bullet
Didnt go to deep
Or that daddy, mommy, brother, or sis
No longer will they miss
An American hero.
