8/20 - Speechless

Speechless
hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia
is to me a justly maligned and truculent word
I find myself unable to muster
meaningful kinetic involvement
placid in its impotent being
it lends the appearance of
imminently springing from the tip of the tongue
an exhilarating charge forward into the atmosphere
but ultimately it remains rooted at the lectern
resplendent in recalcitrant and peevish repose

Placid
Kinetic
Forward
