Para/Poem Challenge "Open"

Morose
Saturnine
Obstinate
Tenacious
Impermeable
Egest

Sensible people rest at night
And get up less morose.
They put an impermeable layer
Against the waking world
Until the sun has rose-
en?
Risen, yeah that's it.
I am like them only when
Tenacious sleep won't let me go.
Obstinate, I agitate,
Even egest all my dreams,
Grow saturnine from all the strife
Of keeping sore eyes open,
But in the end it does no good.
Eventually I give in.
