My entry for this months Acrostic POETRY Contest is

I got this puppy
from the Amish who were building our home up north. Someone had dropped her off at
their little school when the children were out on the playground. The son brought her home and
asked me if I WOULD KEEP HER. We named her Schatzie, which means "LOVE" and
she has been our love for the past 4 years. She fetches two toys at a time, one for her to keep
and one to drop at my feet. She has done this ever since I GOT HER. She loves to go with
us and obeys without a whimper. She is our "forever friend". GYPSYROSE
