Can you see me?
I am right here.
alone in the darkness,
confusion and fear.

I am just a child
barely even seven.
mommy thought it was time
to send me back to heaven.

why did this happen?
i guess i was too bad,
Or was it just because
my daddy made her sad?



I havn't seen him In a while.
he used to make me laugh and smile.
then one night he went away.
where he was going, he did not say.

he gave me a kiss,
said be good for your mom.
where are you going daddy ?
please can't I come?

this makes me sick.
it makes me so sad.
I want to go home
to my mom and my dad.

As I am screaming
as loud as I can.
a man with kind eyes
takes me by the hand.

come with me child
and do not be afraid.
You are always safe now
the darkness began to fade

now I see my grandma
and my little brother.
but all I really wanted
was love from my mother.
