As so many have said, what you do makes a difference. What I want you all to know is that sometimes that little difference makes all the difference in the world, and in a very real way. In December, you brought moments of calm, love and joy to a terrified mother and almost a continent away, a very sick man finding it hard to find reasons to hang on. All at the same time, just by doing this one thing, this one small act of kindness, you deeply affect real lives every day. That's not just good work; that's important work. You do it very well.
The Japanese have a saying:"To say 'thank you' cheapens the gift."
I'll risk it. Thank you so very much for my Shower of Joyful Acts. When you so selflessly dispense care, love, hope and joy, you change a moment, a day, a life--a world. Thank you.
