A Time to Give Thanks

* My baby sister. She's a miracle; we found out that Mom was expecting just a month or two before my brother passed away.
* The "problem child" in the second grade class I help in. He is the kid I connect with, and the reason I keep going.
* The memory of my big brother. He was such a good man, and he just wanted to conquer his cancer so that he could serve others. Now he is free from his cancer-ridden body, and I can continue his work for him.
* WDC. It was my one constant when my whole life changed because of my brother's death in October.
* That my cold's getting better. I even managed to read aloud to the 2nd graders twice today! (With cough drops both times...)
* Sock puppets. My sock puppet, Mr. Rulean, folds up small enough to fit in a pocket, but when he's on my hand, he's bigger than any stuffed animal that would fit in my pocket. And people don't look at me funny for carrying him around, like they might if I was carrying a teddy bear. (Yes, I know that from experience.)
