Dreamland

I had a weird dream last night and my memory is sketchy so forgive me.

We were at the church I went to all throughout my childhood and a bunch of people were camping on the grounds. I set up my tent right over a stream and my dad said water was getting into my tent. I asked him to move it for me.
I went inside to clean a bathroom and then wondered why I was doing that when it could wait until tomorrow. Looking out the window, everyone was cooking on the bbq and having a great time.
I went back out and noticed it was going to rain and I couldn't find where Dad put my tent. But I spotted some deer in a small wooded area and began petting a fawn. A little girl about 1.5 years old came up and pet it as well. It was amazing how soft and calm it was. We let it go when the mother arrived, but then a large badger type animal came and got one of the baby deer. It was heart breaking, but there was nothing I could do. I went to search for my tent in the rain and wind as I started to feel cold.

I suppose to me, this dream echoes a feeling of changes happening and comfort being taken away. There are a lot of changes going on right now in my waking world - baby on the way, trying to get our house ready to sell, buying a car, and not to mention yesterday was a particularly bad day for me personally. Lately, I've been anything but comfortable.
