Inspired by one of my essays. Take a moment and share what you're thankful for.

A couple of things I'm grateful for.
by Phoenix
Brooke,
This is a wondeful idea. Remembering those people, events or things in our lives that end up defining us is worthy of notice.

I am grateful for my wonderful husband. He is very kind and thoughtful, even if he is occassionally difficult *Laugh*. When I asked him about a trip to S. America, a trip that would spend money on just me and not our whole family, he was willing to let me have this experience. It takes a very special person to put the happiness of their partner above their own interests. We have different ideas about what constitutes a trip of a lifetime, he would rather spend two weeks on a cruise *Laugh*.

After seventeen years together and thirteen years of marriage, I continue to marvel at how we seem to grow together, while maintaining our individuality (important because we are both stubborn individualists). Despite coming from different cultures and a fifteen year age difference we seem to work well together and I would marry him again in a heartbeat *Heart*.
