This has been one of the best rounds I can remember. The scores, please note, were mostly very close--it's really tough to "judge" a competition as subjective as this one, so I try to focus on substance and participation level, and use my gut reactions to break ties. Without further ado, here's how the scores came out this time: 1st Place: katwoman45  and Mighty (a tie!)--in neither case did I even have to apply bonus scores. 2nd Place: Cappucine  --consistently wonderful, this time and always. 3rd Place: objurgate and Chewie Kittie  (another tie!)--both notable not only for their Following entries, but also because of all the exceptional responses their Leading entries inspired. Congrats, guys!! This was really, really fun, and I hope everyone decides to play again in the next round (coming up in a couple weeks, after we all take a much-needed breather  ). |
