Darn! I'm silly. I just happened to read that the round closed two days ago. *facepalm*

Ah, well. T'was fun to write. *Salute*





I manually counted the words around six times. I still don't trust my ability to count past ten...

I wrote a few different entries for this prompt, with dragons real and fake; there were happy stories, and epic fantasy, and then... well. This. I don't know why this was the one that stuck with me, but here goes.

This is my first time entering this contest, and I have just enough room in my port to do so! This is exciting.
