Tributes to Writing.Com

In 2002, I came across a site called Stories.Com. I had no idea at the time that I would be introduced to a new world. I was always shy when it came to letting others read what I'd write, but the members and site itself seemed warm and welcoming. Little by little, I felt at ease and eager to partake in what the site offered.

I have been blessed with the opportunity attending 2 Writing.Com Conventions, and meeting the people behind the “Emerald Curtain,” the ones who made all this possible. I’ve traveled and met Members in other states, which on ANY other site I would have been running away. I’ve made friendships and memories which I still hold dearly. I met my best friend, now my husband.

Yes, Writing.Com changed my life. Happy 15 Years, my friend.
