Out of The Fog Contest - Open March 1st

Gazing down from heights unknown,
Couldn't believe what my eyes were shown,
Witnessing beauty of renown.

Eden spread across lucious oasis,
Palm trees the background embraces,
Pyramids structure seemingly spacious.

The smell assaults my sensitive nose,
Sand pelts my face as wind doth blows,
Slaves inching closer; a rooster crows.

This paradise forbidden from seen sight,
Pharaoh controls peasents with evil delight,
Gliding towards clouds in acrobatic flight.

Expanse of greenery blends in time,
Chariot of fire crests and climbs,
Dimensional shifts in dreamscapes paradigm.

Granite throne polished; hovering beyond,
Lions embellish the armrest entombed,
Gateway appears a shimmering phenomenon.

Dream or memory questions my mind,
Images battle against visual confines,
Whisked away to destinations intertwined.
