I am alright with the rating change, but I just re-read the item, and I am not sure of why the rating was changed from E to 13+ since it not discussed murder, and the word murder itself only appears in the item once. It was not about how to carry out a murder; it was not about the actual murder in Florida, but about the fact that there were mixed opinion about the murder was being addressed in the public opinion polls, and finally in the justice system that determined that Zimmerman had the right to shoot and kill an unarmed Black TEENAGER! (That action was not even in the article.) This is what is written about 13+ ratings: 13+: Recommended for Readers 13 Years and Older Only 13 and Older This rating signifies that the content of this item is intended for readers 13 years of age and older and may be inappropriate for any minor under the age of 13. We recommend that supervising adults not allow such minors to read 13+ content. Horror and violence may exist at a moderate level, but not extreme. There may be mild references to sex, drugs or alcohol, but do not exceed mild levels. Mild swearing may be used, but no use of the harsher sexually derived words may be found, absolutely no completed F-word, or phonetic spellings of such words. NONE of the above content is in the item that was changed by WDC. So, please help me understanding the rating system, and tell me again about not censoring on WDC. |
