John Connolly's 'Infernals'

I've never read him before (this particular book is for young adults), but so far it's pretty good. He writes about dark places and things in this (Hell, demons, and such), but in a humorous way. I believe this is part of a series about the main character, Samuel Johnson, and I unfortunately jumped into the 2nd book without reading the 1st. But he quickly go me caught me up (and scolded me for reading the 2nd before the 1st, but I had that coming *Bigsmile*).
Like I said, so far, so good.
