I am currently reading Weir's second novel (after The Martian). I loved The Martian was looking forward to Artemis SO much, I was delighted to receive an advanced copy.
But the book just isn't doing it for me and it's hugely disappointing to admit that! I'm 100 pages in and really not liking the main protagonist, Jazz. She reads as if she is much younger than she is, does a lot of assuming that you don't know things and swears all of the time. To me she doesn't come across as a real person would.
Please, I'm dying to hear what anybody else thinks of this book? I'm hoping there are fans of it out there!
