I 'liked' your post in that I 'get it', not that I like that you're feeling lost!

Over in the newbies academy, they have a 'newbies checklist'. It seems very administrative at first, and I'd much rather just be writing something, but it has been tremendously helpful in getting myself settled. At least to a point where I feel comfortable chatting and posting some work. If you haven't worked through it yet, it might be a worthwhile endeavour for you.

I'm still brand-spankin' new myself, but if you have any questions, let me know and if I've come across information/experienced/fixed something similar and can help, I'm more than happy to!
