The Week of Dec. 11th in Review
Goals for the Week of Dec. 11th and what I've accomplished.

Daily Goals

Blog and post.
Whew! Just completed this one.

Read one inspirational passage from The Sweetness of a Simple Life by Diana Beresford-Kroeger.
I've been keeping up to date. Tomorrow I will reach the end of the book. It's one I'd recommend for every library.

Keep up with email.
Another challenging task I've managed to keep up with.

Eat three healthy meals.
With the days racing on toward the holiday season, and the time to complete seasonal tasks quickly shrinking, I have to confess to missing two lunches. Were that they were suppers instead.

Drink tea and eat fruit in between.
With the holiday baking given and received in recent exchanges, I've succumbed to temptation.
However, I am making an effort to be moderate in my indulgences - as in avoid weight gain over the holidays.

Pilates Class on hold until my injury heals.
I'm continuing to make progress in the healing process. *Smile*

Incorporate one household task, with priority on cleaning bathrooms and dusting.
I managed to pack three into one day, but still haven't gotten to the dusting.
Hopefully next week will feel less intense, without few social engagements.

This Week

Make one dinner/lunch for the extended family.
One lunch and one dinner has been made for the extended family and we will be adding a second dinner on the weekend.

Lunch with friends
I had one solo engagement and a double date including Sam.

Have my granddaughter over
We had one bonding date midweek and will add a second on the weekend.

Read up on ways to baby hand-prints on a round Christmas ornament.
I've completed my research. Now for the doing.

Bake ginger cookies before Friday.
This one didn't happen. However, I made another Christmas treat – Steve's favorite.

Make mushroom pate before Friday
Thank goodness this task got completed, along with the cranberry sauce I make annually.
I also managed to slip in a Kasha Nut loaf for vegetarians.

Pick up seasonal cocktail napkins
Managed to tuck this task in on our day of grocery shopping.

Overall, it's been a week of more successes than lapses. And a few extra accomplishments.
