Unhiding Newsfeed Post from Guest Visitor

I hid a load of posts from a user who was just posting strings of characters in the newsfeed. They've no longer got an account, and I know having too many things hidden can slow up my newsfeed loading times, so I wanted to unhide them over at https://www.writing.com/main/my_account.php?action=show_hidden. I unhid a couple of old ones from current users, and got the standard green tick. For the one's that no longer exist, I get the loading circle, and then nothing happens. I'm guessing there's some conflict with unhiding a post that doesn't technically exist anymore?
