I'm following the Snowflake method of planning my novel; it's early days so it may not work for me, but I thought it was worth investing some time to see if it's a method I can adopt or adapt to suit my needs. It's time to try something different from my usual pantser approach, as that just wasn't getting me to where I wanted to go.
Zen, if it's not too much trouble (and typing) I'd be genuinely interested in your list of the 16 pieces of information that you feel it's necessary to include in each scene. I assume you mean just the longer scenes of several paragraphs or pages, rather than any brief one/two paragraph standalone scenes, or does your '16 points' rule apply to even the smaller scenes?
