Noticing Newbies

Hello all. My name is Gavin. I joined a week or two ago. Haven't really done anything on here except read and review a couple of stories here and there. I've also participated in some of those daily posts on the news-feed. I finally got around to posting my first little story. It was for the 48-Hour Challenge: Media Prompt. It's a very brief story but I'd still appreciate any feedback on it. Break my heart or strengthen my writing, so long as I'm getting you guys to review. I'm going to increase the amount of gift points for 250-character review to 300. I would offer more but I've only got 3000 so far.
