Noticing Newbies

Hello. I decided to join the site to get some feedback on my writing and, of course, use others as a reference as well. I have always enjoyed writing but, due to my current time constraints (work and learning Japanese), I do not get as much time as I would like. After spending a lot of time learning Japanese, I have managed to create a bit of time every day for writing and I have discovered that... learning another language has really depleted my writing skills. I welcome all feedback no matter how harsh- I would rather know the faults instead of pussy-footing around them.
