Tobber, "A good course can help you a lot with the craft, in that it facilitates learning by providing information you needed, setting up writing exercises that lets you practice specific aspects of writing, and, most importantly, helping you analyze what makes writing work or fail, both in your own and in others' writing."
This is exactly what is happening with me as I go through the lectures and do the exercises.
I did find out that the University [Open University] that sponsors these free courses is accredited. If I decide I want more and can scrape up the money, it will definitely be worth it.
