Noticing Newbies

Hi everyone. I like to think of myself as a hobby enthusiast; which is really just a fancy way of saying that I collect hobbies the way some people collect stamps. But of all my vast interests, the written word is my first love. My goal for right now is to build a nice circle like-minded people, to talk with about writing woes and triumphs as well as other aspects of the business. Because I've never had that and apparently it really makes all the difference. My goal for the long term is one that I've had sense childhood. To write a book or story that profoundly changes the life of the reader.
