Newsfeed and title fields don't have macro button bars, so the personalized macros probably aren't enabled there.
It's doing that for me, too, here in the post text box. It's the Ctrl+Shft+5 macro, but that's not my newest one. Ctrl + Shift+ Up triggers the macro for Ctrl + Shift + 7. Same in an entry body text box,
Ctrl + Shift + Down ... highlights to the next hard return.
Ctrl + Shift + Right .... highlights to the end of the [next] word.
