Sounds like you got the tagging notification, not the reply notification. You need to reset your default for forum reply notifications. That's the one under the reply box after you click in it to reply, where it says Set as Default. Make sure the box is checked.

To view any replies to your posts, you view any of your own posts in this thread -- scroll down to check the message thread tree below the post content to see all the replies. Click any link to view that reply.
