Hello all,

This is my first time to write such a post seeking help from an expert writers like you ladies and gentlemen.

couple of months ago I had an idea to write a book about a true story happens to my family during the 80's (1982) back in my country (Syria).

It is a drama story unfortunately, where all of my uncles and aunts has killed in a civil war happened in my city. It changed our entire life.

I was hoping to write a book to so the characters of the story remains in our hearts and minds. I did not prefer to write a normal boring book about how many are killed during the war, who caused the war and how bad was it. I want to make it as a novel so the reader can feel the massacre. A story that will be remembered for good.

I am seeking for your great opinions and guides, how to start and how the writing should be.
