I would suggest trying to look into what successful self-published authors have done.
From what I've gathered so far, Facebook ads aren't working nearly as well as people thought a couple of years ago (but, of course, some authors have success with them). Bookbub on the other hand sounds very effective, especially if you have more than one piece up for grabs.
